Guwahati, 13 Feb; A road accident occurred yesterday at about 6:35 PM near Azad Nagar, 30 km from Guwahati, when a Winger jeep collided with an electricity post while trying to avoid a high-speed local bus. According to eye witnesses, the jeep lost control and swerved off the road, running over a schoolboy and hitting a tree. The boy, Manmohan Berma (13), and two others, driver Abhisaar Azad (35) and passenger Manish Gogoi (42), died on the spot. Four other passengers sustained severe injuries and were hospitalized. The incident has caused shock in the local community.
